Our brain release dopamine when we get angry

Have you ever felt really angry? 😡 Maybe you got mad when someone took something that belongs to you away, or when you didn't get your way. It's normal to feel angry sometimes. Everyone gets angry from time to time.

But did you know that our brains actually like to feel angry sometimes? When we get angry, our brains release a special chemical called dopamine. Dopamine makes us feel good, just like when we eat our favorite food or play our favorite game.

So, why does our brain release dopamine when we get angry? Well, it's kind of like our brain's way of protecting us. When we feel threatened or unsafe, our brain releases dopamine to give us a boost of energy. This energy can help us stand up for ourselves and protect ourselves from danger.

But it's important to remember that getting into a fight is not always the best way to deal with anger. There are other ways to express our anger that are more healthy and socially acceptable. For example, we can talk to someone about what's making us angry, or we can find a way to calm ourselves down, like taking deep breaths or counting to ten. 🧘🧘

So, next time you're feeling angry, try to remember that it's okay to feel that way. But instead of getting into a fight, try to find a healthier way to express your anger. Your brain will thank you for it! 🙏
